Zhoushan Magellan Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture mainly engaged in the harmless disposal of oil sludge. The company is controlled by Singapore Magellan Global Investment Holdings Pte. Ltd, and cooperates with Zhejiang Baoyi Group and other private enterprises in Zhejiang to invest.
The company was established in September 2018 in Zhoushan, Zhejiang, with a registered capital of RMB 98 million. The headquarter is located on the 28th floor of Block B, Ganghang International Building, Lincheng New District, Zhoushan. The production plant is located in Xiaohu Industrial Zone, Liuheng Town, Putuo District, Zhoushan City. The first phase of the project covers an area of 46597.92 square meters (approximately 70 acres); the building area: more than 35,000 square meters; it is composed of 14 building units. The total investment of the first phase of the project: more than 270 million yuan. It mainly consists of two parts: one is the investment in the civil construction and equipment and facilities of the production plant; the other is the investment in the construction of a wharf that is compatible with the waterway transportation of sludge.
The company's main business scope: technical development and technical services in the field of environmental protection technology; import and export of goods and technologies; treatment and processing of oil pollution; processing and sales of metal products; production and sales of renewable fuel oil.
The production plant area is equipped with 2 production lines for the treatment of oil tank sludge, ship sludge and paint buckets, with an annual processing capacity of 100,000 tons, and at the same time, it can produce about 20,000 tons of by-product oil and 3,000 tons of finished iron each year.
The company currently employs more than 60 people and consists of: Production Department, Renewable Resources Department, Operation Department, Finance Department, Hazardous Waste Comprehensive Utilization Research Center, Logistics Company and Headquarter Office.
The project invested by the company has filled the high-tech gap in the environmental protection field in Zhoushan, and has become a successful model of cooperation between People's Government of Zhejiang Province and International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore) in the environmental protection field of the Zhejiang Free Trade Zone. With the continuous development of the Zhejiang Free Trade Zone, the company will further develop into a large-scale, high-tech, comprehensive utilization, and environmentally friendly high-tech enterprise for the harmless disposal and comprehensive utilization of sludge from waste into treasure. The sludge treatment in the area cannot be released from the market, and the provincial government’s goal of “disposing of sludge nearby” has been achieved, making a greater contribution.
